Greatest Video Game Collection EVER!

The following link is courtesy of SI.com's Extra Mustard. Seriously, who has this much time on his hands? I'm curious as to how long it took to collect this many video games and catalog them.

Why Lebron is better than Kobe

Why is LeBron James better than Kobe. It's very simple; Kobe is a dick. People don't like playing with Kobe; Dwight Howard is a whiny little baby as far as NBA players go,but calling him out on his shoulder is a dick move. The Lakers suck and always will suck as long as these two are on the same team. No one likes playing with a dick. It interferes with your game. People like playing with LeBron. He's a nice guy. He's fun to hang around with. Kobe is no fun to hang around with; he won't even talk to you unless he considers you worthy. WHAT A DICK! The only reason the Lakers worked before was because people liked playing with Shaq and Phil. They outweighed Kobe's dick factor. Now that they're gone, the Lakers are doomed. Mark my words, Kobe will eventually be booed out of the Staples Center once people realize what an absolute dick he is. LeBron has none of the dick attributes that Kobe has... I'm a Cleveland fan and I've even forgiven him. Cleveland fans that hate him are just too bitter; they're the same ones who still hate Art Modell. They had legitimate reasons for leaving and they've been proven to be right on both counts. Cleveland fans need to get over it; LeBron still cares about Ohio and Modell donated millions to worthy causes in Ohio. Anyway, I digress; Kobe is a dick and LeBron is still getting better. Miami will win the title this year.

Scary Pro Bowl Statistic

Regardless of what Roger "not a single NFL player trusts or respects me" Goodell says, the Pro Bowl aint going anywhere. According to SI.com, last year's Pro Bowl, the one where NO ONE actually tried, had 12.1 million viewers. The average number of viewers for a World Series game last year, 12.7 million. The Pro Bowl weekend in Hawaii also generates approximately $25 million dollars. Goodell can make all the threats he wants, the players are still going to get their free vacation in Hawaii.

Maybe Bernard Pollard is Right

Ravens' cornerback Bernard Pollard says the NFL won't exist in 30 years, give or take. Maybe he's right. Given the state of the game today, it certainly won't look anything like it does today. Unless something is done regarding the safety of the bigger, faster athletes making bigger and harder hits, it is just a matter of time until there is a fatality on the field. The day that happens, everything will change. There will be a public outcry for change, senate hearings will be held, the NFL Players' Union will be filing lawsuits against the owners and every bit of dirty laundry the NFL and the owners have been suppressing for the past 30 years will become public knowledge. Once this happens, the public (myself included) will have no choice but to make a moral decision regarding America's favorite sport. Owners and players will be at each others' throats, a work stoppage will ensue and owners and the NFl will be forced to change the way the entire game is played. Owners and players don't trust one another already; it is only going to get worse. Just a prediction...

Maybe the NFL is "too big to fail'" but who knows?

Good for you, Beyonce...

What? Did you think she couldn't sing? Really?!?! She's not Britney Spears, people. She should've never had to prove it, but screw you people who thought she did.

The NFL is changing the world?

Good article by Michael Rosenberg in SI.com (see link below). The almost instant backlash against BACKUP 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver is a promising sign that society and the media are setting up a new line regarding anti-homosexual rhetoric that can no longer be crossed. The NFL has long been known as the most homophobic of professional sports leagues. While most NFL players may mirror Mr. Culliver's ignorant views, they can't say it in public anymore. Just as 40 years ago (or less) you could not want a BLACK athlete on your team but you couldn't say it in public. Look where that change in social perception has taken the Chris Cullivers of the world. I find it appalling that black athletes and many black people cannot see the parallels between the prejudice against the homosexual community and the same prejudice the black community suffered from (and still does suffer from) for the last, oh let's say 300 years. The NFL Rookie Symposium should probably include a lecture on tolerance as well. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nfl/news/20130131/chris-culliver-tim-hardaway-gay-teammate/?sct=uk_t12_a5
